How to prepare
To get the most out of your pickleball lesson with Sean McCoy, a little preparation goes a long way. Here are some simple steps to make sure you’re ready to play your best: Bring the right gear – Wear comfortable athletic clothing, court shoes with good grip, and bring your paddle (loaner paddles may be available if you don’t have one yet). Stay hydrated – Bring a water bottle and drink plenty before and during your session. Warm up lightly – A few minutes of stretching or light movement helps you feel loose and reduces the risk of injury. Know your goals – Think about what you’d like to improve (serve, dinks, volleys, strategy, etc.) so Sean can tailor the lesson to your needs. Arrive a little early – This gives you time to settle in, get your bearings, and maximize your court time. Bring a positive attitude – Sean’s lessons are designed to be fun and supportive. Be ready to learn, make mistakes, and enjoy the process. With a bit of preparation, you’ll step onto the court confident and ready to make the most of your time with Sean.
