About Me
Hi, my name is Tim. You might hear people call me "Diesel". I am a new certified associate coach through the PPR. I coached youth pickleball at my church for 2 seasons as well. I have been playing pickleball for about 4 years now and I am absolutely addicted to the sport. I play 4-6 days a week. Like it is my job. Sometimes twice in a day! lol. I coach and play well with all ages and groups.

What my lessons are like
I coach and play well with all ages and groups. I have youth lessons and senior lessons. I have beginners lessons and a multitude of improver lessons and drills. I can do beginners lessons and drills at First Methodist Church Apopka or all levels at Bills Lane in Altamonte Springs. I require that you wear appropriate court style shoes and eye protection is recommended. Water, sun protection, and snacks are a bonus. Lessons are an hour and 10 min. long and start with a stretch and cardio that can be adjusted, if needed, based on players ability. Full explanation of the game, court, scoring, rules, basic strategy, and equipment. We get right into warmup with paddle and ball to assess player. Based on assessment we will move into a teaching drill and maybe play a mini game? Lesson review and set goals on what to work on next time. End with stretch and feedback on lesson.
How to prepare
I require that you wear appropriate court style shoes and eye protection is recommended. Water, sun protection, and snacks are a bonus. Bring paddle and balls. Diesel's 3 basic rules to playing pickleball: 1- Have Fun! 2-Don't get hurt 3- GET BETTER !

If you would like to modify a lesson, you can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
