Carlos is the Pickleball Director at the Racquet Club of St. Petersburg. Growing up, he played tennis and golf, but in 2021, he discovered his true passion: pickleball. Since then, he has turned that passion into a thriving career, offering private lessons, clinics, and hosting tournaments. Originally from Venezuela, Carlos loves sharing his enthusiasm for the game with others.

What my lessons are like
My remote lessons start with you sending me videos of your fundamental shots—serves, returns, drives, drops, dinks, punch volleys, and roll volleys. I’ll analyze each shot and provide detailed, point-by-point feedback to help you understand your strengths and areas for improvement. After the video analysis, we’ll schedule a 20-minute phone call where you can ask questions and dive deeper into how to level up your game.
How to prepare
To get started, record yourself playing a game, and be sure to include clips of you hitting serves, returns, drop shots, drives, dinks, and volleys. The total video should be no longer than five minutes and the quality must be clear—good lighting, steady camera, and full view of your strokes. If the footage isn’t usable, I may ask you to re-record it. This step is essential to ensure I can give you the best possible feedback.
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson, no problem! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking.
If you would like to modify a lesson, you can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
