About Me
My name is James, and I spent 30 years coaching high school football, baseball, and basketball. After retiring from teaching, I joined the Lewisville Parks & Recreation Department, where I was introduced to pickleball for the first time. Initially, I started as a referee, but I was soon asked if I’d be interested in coaching instead. I took the opportunity, earned my certification over a year ago, and have since conducted over 1,000 lessons—Including my wife and son. My son and I recently played in our first pickleball tournament together, and we were proud to finish in third place

What my lessons are like
We would begin by learning all the rules. Then we would learn where the contact zone is located. We would learn the power and technique for returning dinks. Then we would learn how to serve either the drop serve or the volley serve.
How to prepare
Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your lesson, no problem! You can get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours of making your booking.
If you would like to modify a lesson, you can easily make these changes within 24 hours of booking, and up to 72 hours before your lesson starts.
