Open Play + Challenge Court Join us for Open Play at Pickleball 706 — all skill levels welcome! Rotate in, meet new players, and enjoy fun, friendly competition. For those looking to test their game, our Challenge Court will be open! Winners stay on, challengers rotate in — a great way to step up your play and see how you stack up against others.

Come for the fun, stay for the challenge! Courts are progressional from Court 1 being the Advanced Level, to Court 4 being the Beginner Level.
When joining Open play be sure to find your level. Paddle Stacking Bins will be outside each Court. In less busy times: Courts 1 & 2 will stack together and Courts 3 & 4 will stack together. Scoring:, No Players waiting: Play to 11, win by 2.
1-3 Players Waiting: Play to 11, win by 2. New Players come on, some stay on to complete the foursome 4 or more Players waiting: Play to 11, win by 2. 4 on/4 off. All Players leave the Court. Four new players come onto the court. Challenge Court (Court 1): Winners stay on, Challengers Rotate in.
If there are not enough players to fill courts then Court 1 is used first. If More Courts are Open: Court 8 will be a beginners Court and Court 7 will be an Intermediate Court. After registering at the front desk, check at the front desk to see which courts are designated for Open Play and what levels are assigned. Get in line for a game by placing your paddle in the stacking cart located behind each court. The order of paddles in the stack determines the playing order. The Top Tier is waiting position #1. The “Next Up” Clip indicates the next group to Play. When it’s your turn to play, remove your paddle and move the “Next Up” clip to the next shelf. If there are no paddles in the stack, leave it on the top tier. If you see a stack with less than 4 paddles, you can add your paddle to that stack to join their group. When a game ends and a court opens, yell “COURT” so the next four players in the paddle stack know to take the court. Players from the finished game can either rest or place their paddles back in line to wait for their next turn. Games are played to 11, win by 2.
