Major League Pickleball’s New York franchise, the Brooklyn Pickleball Team (BKPT), brings its professional training philosophy directly to TopSpin Pickleball with the Brooklyn Bootcamp.
Designed by BKPT Head Coach Kyle McKenzie, this high-intensity, four-session training program delivers the structure, detail, and competitive edge used at the pro level — now accessible to the community.
Each session combines focused instruction, purposeful drilling, and competitive live play to give players meaningful reps, sharpened decision-making, and elevated game IQ. Athletes will train the most critical elements of modern pickleball, including:
• Dinking patterns & volley variations
• Third-shot strategy (drive + drop development)
• Transition resets & midcourt control
• Kitchen attacks & countering speed-ups
• Mastering the first five shots
Built around clear weekly themes, progressive skill layering, and situational games, Brooklyn Bootcamp is designed to create measurable improvement across all four sessions — while giving players repeatable frameworks they can apply long after the program ends.
This professional-level training experience will be led by BKPT’s own Kayla Teape alongside TopSpin Pickleball’s Evan Greenberg, bringing elite-level systems together with a deep understanding of the local player community.
Drop-in Skills and Drills- 3.5+Practice makes perfect, and no better way to get those practice reps in than in our weekly skills and drills! Each week we will hammer down one skill, with a little introductory instruction followed by lots of hits.
