Players will be grouped by age and skill level to ensure everyone is challenged and having fun. Newer players will learn the fundamentals of pickleball, including the rules, scoring, basic techniques, and court positioning, before jumping into fun, carnival-style mini games and supervised match play. More experienced players will dive into live drills, competitive mini games, coached open play, and fast-paced live ball games that keep everyone active while developing strategy, consistency, and confidence. Throughout the week, all players will receive personalized coaching and expert tips designed to help them improve quickly and build confidence on the court. Every day of camp features a new mix of games, drills, challenges, and activities, so there's always something fresh, exciting, and fun to look forward to. We'll wrap up the week with a tournament and skills challenge, giving players the chance to showcase everything they've learned and celebrate the progress they've made. Above all, the Junior Academy is a chance for kids to discover pickleball, improve their game, make new friends, and have an awesome time at Velto. Summer Camp Week 11 Afternoon SessionSummer Camp for children ages 7 to 13 years of age. Children will be offered three hours of pickleball, instruction and fun activities in a structured and air-conditioned facility. Children must be picked up and dropped off at the facility. Make up days or refunds for missed days will not be permitted. All participants must wear proper sneakers. Children should be sent with a snack and refillable water bottle.
