TENNIS CAMP WEEK #1Tennis Camp is a fun and active program that will encourage all participants to improve their skills and have the opportunity to play matches. Our program is designed to include conditioning,skill building as well as strategy. All players are expected to be respectful of all staff as well as fellow campers. Our environment is family friendly and our goal is to create a playing atmosphere that encourages all levels to improve through participation and cooperation. Our Day begins at 9:00 am with conditioning followed by on court drills with our experienced Tennis Coaches.. There is a morning snack @10:30 - 10:45am. Game play will follow until 11am. All campers will swim or relax by the pool until 11:25. Big game(Camp favorite) begins @11:35 and includes all the campers as well as coaches on court #1. Lunch is@12:00 and can be brought from home or pre-ordered on-line through our Cafe.The Cafe also offers snacks. Parents should set up an account in advance. Campers return to the courts for the afternoon session at 12:30. Each court is divided by skill level and our afternoon will include drills, games and match play to enhance daily on court instruction. Afternoons will include a swim break based on the weather. Usually, the swim break will be at 2:00 and campers will return to the courts @2:30 for ice pops followed by game play and or match play. We have included pickleball in our afternoon program on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Finally we gather for the Players favorite Big Game on Court #1 @3:00; where campers and coaches compete to be the last team standing . Dismissal for the day is 3:30 at the pool/tennis gate. Parents must pick up campers here. No one is allowed to go into the pool area without a parent or guardian. All parents who are carpooling must provide the name of the person who will be picking up when they drop off in the morning. In case of inclement weather.. Camp will go on as usual if there are a few showers in the forecast. Campers will have a great day filled with games and activites with our awesome staff. Camp will only be cancelled if the Weather includes heavy rain All Day. Parents will be notified by 7 am if camp is cancelled. Friday will be used as a make-up day if needed.
