Tournament FAQs
What is Bounce
Bounce is the pickleball platform for open play, leagues and tournaments.
What if I don't have a DUPR?
No problem. Creating an account only takes a few moments. To get started, visit https://mydupr.com and click "Sign up" in the top right. If you need guidance, don’t hesitate to reach out to our team.
Can my matches count towards my DUPR rating?
Absolutely. We are integrated with DUPR, so players will be able to log several official matches.
What is the minimum number of teams for an event to be hosted?
The minimum number of teams per event is 8. If an event doesn't reach 8 complete teams, the teams registered for the events without enough teams will be contacted for next steps.
What's the refund policy?
Refunds are given up to 48 hours before registration closes on November 5th, or in the case of inclement weather (outdoor tournaments only).
How does round robin and single elimination work?
Each team will participate in round robin, where they'll play every team in their pool once. These games are to 11. Wins and losses in round robin inform seeding for single elimination. When round robin concludes, each team will participate in the single elimination tournament. The quarterfinals, semifinals and finals are played best 2/3, always to 11.
What if I don't have a partner?
No problem! Register and use "[email protected]" as your partner email. We'll find someone for you. If we fail to do so, we will refund you!
How is prize money distributed?
The prize money listed is for each event and will distributed to teams to split as they wish.
